Description
Essaouira is one of Morocco’s oldest cities, Since the 7th century, the city has been an important commercial port.
In the 19th century, it was also a popular place for artists to relax and get ideas for new projects.
like Orson Welles, the famous British band the Beatles, and more. definitely, you will enjoy the city’s
cosmopolitan atmosphere, It’s a favorite place for surfers and windsurfers because it has great waves
and a beautiful sunset over the Atlantic Ocean.
Itinerary
We pick you up from your hotel at 8:30 in the morning and drive you three hours southwest of Marrakesh. We stop halfway to get something to eat or drink or to use the loo, and then we keep going to Mogadour. As we approach the village where there are forests of Argan trees, goats claim to feed on the nuts of the Argan trees. If you’re interested, we can visit the women’s cooperative where this oil is made.When we arrive in Essaouira at midday, you will have free time to have lunch
(fish restaurants are available)and explore the old city, the souks, the wooden handcraft section of the old town, and the medina fortifications.
You will also have the opportunity to explore the ancient port and view some of Essaouira’s
traditional fishing boats before returning to Marrakech at 5:00 p.m.
